FAQs About Belluber and working with Steph

Belluber is run by me – Stephanie Collyer and I help businesses improve their online presence and turn it into something that actually supports their business goals.

I design and redesign websites so they look good (on all devices), get found on search engines, attract the right people and encourage visitors to take the next step, like make an enquiry.

I also provide marketing services that can include analysing your competitors to identify opportunities, reviewing your current marketing and putting together a practical strategy and schedule.

I can take care of the doing – website updates, email newsletters, social media content and building new leads/potential business alliances through LinkedIn.

I mainly work with small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.

My clients come from all sorts of industries, although I have particular experience and knowledge of health and wellbeing, business coaching, construction and the trades.

Not at all. I work with businesses throughout the UK and many of my clients are based outside the county.

Meetings can easily be held by Zoom or Teams, but if you’re in Suffolk and would prefer to meet face to face, that’s fine too.

Me, the owner and MD of Belluber.

You won’t be passed between account managers or different departments. I’ll be the person getting to know your business, discussing the strategy with you and carrying out the work.

One of the biggest differences is that you deal directly with the person actually doing the work.

It means I get to know your business properly rather than relying on briefs being passed between different people. Communication is straightforward, decisions can be made quickly and you always know who is responsible for getting things done.

For many of my long-term clients, I become an extension of their team – someone who already understands their business, their customers and what they want to achieve.

Yes – and I’d much rather start there than sell you a list of services you won’t need.

We start by talking about your business, your goals and what’s currently working – or not working. A marketing and website review can then help us find the opportunities and decide which actions are a priority.

Of course. I’m not a ‘yes’ person when it comes to business. If I don’t think something is going to help, I’ll tell you. If there’s a better or more cost-effective way of doing something, I’ll suggest it.

I want you to spend your budget where it’s most likely to make a difference.

Yes, and many clients do. One example is that I have created three websites for NJ Architects and I manage their ongoing marketing, including website content and updates, email newsletters and growing their connections and potential partners on LinkedIn.

Other clients might start with a website and come back later for marketing support, training or something else. There’s no need to do everything at once.

Yes. I regularly work alongside clients’ internal teams as well as other marketing, PR and web design agencies.

If you’ve already got good people doing certain things, I’m not going to suggest changing that. We can look at where Belluber can add the most value.

Yes. Some clients want to be closely involved, while others simply don’t have the time or resources and want someone they trust to get on with it.

I can take care of ongoing website management and marketing activities for you, keeping you updated without giving you another long list of jobs to do.

We’ll arrange an initial call or online meeting so I can find out more about your business, what you are looking to achieve and where you might need some help.

If you’re based in Suffolk and would prefer to meet face to face, we can arrange that too.

There’s no expectation that you need to know exactly what service you need before contacting me – helping you work that out is part of the conversation.

Usually I ask for around four weeks’ notice, although I can sometimes start sooner if you have something urgent.

It depends on the type and size of the project and what I already have scheduled. I deliberately don’t take on more work than I can properly manage – I’d rather give existing clients the service they’ve been promised than overstretch myself.

Yes – I explain things clearly. Most of my clients are experts in their own businesses – they don’t need to be experts in websites, SEO (search engine optimisation) or digital marketing as well.

I’ll talk you through things in straightforward language so you understand what I’m recommending and why.

Don’t just take my word for it – have a look at my client reviews and you’ll see this mentioned there too.

It depends on what you need.

Website costs vary considerably depending on the size, content and functionality required.

Smaller websites can start from around £995, while larger business websites involving extensive content, functionality and SEO can be several thousand pounds. Once we confirm what you need, I’ll provide a clear quotation.

Ongoing marketing packages can range from a few hundred pounds per month for specific activities to around £1,200 per month for more comprehensive support across several areas.

Once I know what you’re trying to achieve, I can recommend the most appropriate options and give you clear costs before you commit.

Yes. I’ll provide an initial outline proposal based on what we’ve discussed.

We can then refine it together until we’re both completely clear about what’s included, what it will cost and what I’ll be delivering.

I don’t charge more than we’ve agreed without discussing and agreeing any additional work with you first.

Not for website design. Once your website is completed and live, it’s yours. You have control of your domain, hosting accounts and website, and I can provide training if you’d like to manage it yourself.

For ongoing marketing, I normally start with an initial four-month agreement. This gives us enough time to get the work underway and start assessing what’s working. After that, you can stop at any time with one month’s notice.
